ISD has a nice Freelance Opportunity for dedicated Website Administrators, to manage, maintain, and continuously update the company's website. This role ensures optimal functionality, security, and accessibility of the website while improving user experience and aligning with business goals. The ideal candidate will also possess basic knowledge of SEO techniques to support website visibility and performance.
What are you going to do?
- Website Maintenance: Oversee the administration and smooth functioning of the website to ensure reliability and accessibility.
- Website Updates: Continuously update website content, including text, images, and documents, to ensure accuracy and relevance for users. Implement new pages, sections, or features as required by company needs and aligned with the brand's design standards.
- Performance Optimization: Enhance navigation and structure for an intuitive and user-friendly experience.
- WordPress Management: Manage and maintain the website using WordPress, including updates to themes, plugins, and core features. Customize WordPress templates and layouts to align with business and branding requirements.
- Basic SEO Implementation: Apply foundational SEO techniques, such as optimizing meta tags, alt text, and headings, to enhance website performance in search engines.
- Security Assurance: Implement and monitor security measures such as SSL certificates, backups, and protections against malware or cyberattacks.
- Safeguard the website’s data integrity and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Collaboration and Development: Work closely with marketing team to implement new functionalities and improve the website. Test and integrate features such as contact forms, chat systems, or other interactive tools.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in website administration or web development
- Strong proficiency in WordPress, including theme and plugin management
- Basic knowledge of SEO techniques, such as optimizing metadata and improving on-page elements
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic web development practices
- Familiarity with tools for performance monitoring, content updates, and security management
- Certifications in website development, WordPress, or related areas will be considered as an advantage
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Conversational English level
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Web Development, or a related field
