Writer, Editor & Project Manager ($1,800, No experience required)

ABOUT US

We are a small team of education enthusiasts at Air Business Class! We like to think, do research and write super-clear materials that make people’s lives easier. In short, our mission is to create interactive online courses from which new employees in our company learn how to do their jobs quickly and easily.

We teach people in a way that’s genuinely easy to understand, useful and memorable. We use stories and childlike simplicity in our materials and activities. We make our materials fun. And we combine education with art!

WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone who will both write materials & help others write better & approve their work.

Most of the time, you’ll be reading texts - your own, or others’ - and trying to figure out how to make things simpler by restructuring information, changing the wording, adding a story, etc. If you like writing and organizing things - give it a go!

No experience required! We will teach you everything.

Responsibilities

• Help content creators write better by checking 100% of their work and offering suggestions and instructions
• Write texts that explain various concepts with childlike simplicity
• Occasionally, edit images or create short gifs. We will teach you how to do it, so don’t worry! It’s not as intimidating as you’d imagine. :)
• Some managerial duties like managing tasks, coaching employees, making announcements, etc. (we will train and guide you)

Work Conditions

• starting salary $1,800
• partially flexible schedule
• 7h work shift + 1h of breaks
• official employment, salary on your debit card
• 28 paid vacation days
• Hybrid in the beginning (4/1 remote), possibility to go fully remote in time

Requirements

• C1 English level minimum
• Personal interest in writing or education & learning
• Familiarity with computers and basic apps (e.g. being able to use gmail)

Other Conditions

• Experience in writing, education or even in design (especially UX) is advantageous but not required
