Trucking Claims Specialist

Atlas Freight is a well-established trucking company seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Trucking Claims Specialist to manage and resolve insurance claims related to our fleet operations. We are looking for a candidate with experience in handling claims, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and manage claims involving trucking accidents, damages, and liability.
• Communicate with insurance companies, drivers, and other third parties to resolve claims.
• Prepare necessary documentation and ensure all required paperwork is completed.
• Review and assess claim validity, negotiate settlements, and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain detailed records of claims activity and follow up on pending cases.
• Assist with internal reporting and provide updates to management.
• Provide excellent customer service to drivers and clients throughout the claims process.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Claims Specialist in the trucking or transportation industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of insurance claims processes and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple claims and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office and claims management software.
• Ability to work independently and remotely if necessary.
