Job Summary:
The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive QA strategies, including creating and executing test plans, cases, and scenarios to ensure software quality and conformance to specifications. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, lead and mentor the QA team, and use tools like Jira and Postman to track bugs, validate software, and communicate risks that may impact project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and checklists.
- Identify, track, and validate bugs via Jira.
- Perform manual testing and work with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- Analyze business requirements and collaborate closely with the product team.
- Estimate testing time and analyze results to identify trends and improvements.
- Plan and oversee product quality inspections to ensure specification compliance.
- Lead and mentor the QA team, while developing QA strategies aligned with project goals.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Proven experience in working with and creating test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and checklists.
- Proficiency in using task management tools such as Jira, Trello, and Asana, including creating and tracking tasks.
- Familiarity with operating systems and browsers, with experience in testing on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms, as well as cross-browser testing.
- Skilled in using DevTools for debugging and testing web applications.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a QA or related role.
- English proficiency at B1/B2 level or higher.
