We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Infrastructure Support Unit to join our Information Technology Department. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation, modernization, and security of our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will lead a team to manage IT resources, maintain high availability of services, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.
What do we expect from you?
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Proficiency in PC operations and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Advanced knowledge of IT security, Disaster Recovery planning, and backup methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage time and resources effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Initiative, flexibility, and responsibility in managing IT projects and teams.
- Fluency in Romanian or Russian, and English.
Your responsibilities:
- Oversee the management and functionality of IT hardware and software infrastructure, including the computer network, Active Directory, VOIP, printers, and other technical equipment.
- Lead the Infrastructure Support Unit, ensuring effective team performance and the quality of project delivery.
- Develop and implement security and access policies for information resources.
- Ensure the execution of Disaster Recovery and Backup policies.
- Manage IT department budgets in line with procurement procedures and the business plan.
- Provide training to users on computer systems and installed software.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of software and hardware inventories.
- Supervise the operation of automated backup processes and video monitoring systems.
- Liaise with IT service providers and vendors for hardware and software needs.
- Monitor and enhance IT services related to employee information systems.
- Participate in audit processes and ensure the preparation of requested information within job scope.
- Conduct and organize annual inventories of company assets.
- Ensure compliance with IT regulations, business continuity rules, and company-level procedures.
- Actively participate in the recruitment and development of team members.
- Respond promptly to IT incidents, mitigating their impact and informing relevant stakeholders.
- Meet performance indicators as set by management.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices relevant to infrastructure management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in leading IT infrastructure teams within a corporate environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and standards is an advantage.
