About the Role
We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineering Manager who can balance technical leadership and hands-on coding. This hybrid role involves mentoring and managing the engineering team, ensuring high-quality development processes, while also actively contributing to the codebase. This is a remote role, but we prefer candidates who can overlap significantly with U.S. Eastern Time (ET). At a minimum, availability until 12 PM ET is required, with the remaining hours adaptable to European time zones.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical execution and architecture for our mobile and backend systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and backend solutions using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.
• Build and optimize the frontend experience in React Native for our mobile application.
• Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Manage and maintain PostgreSQL and Mongoose databases.
• Integrate with various third-party services and APIs.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous process improvement.
• Debug and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Strong full-stack development experience (frontend + backend).
• Expertise in Node.js, Express.js, TypeScript, and React Native.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Mongoose databases.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Proven track record in leading or mentoring engineering teams.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
