Requirements:
- Deep understanding or strong knowledge of GSM 2/3/4/5G infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience in telecommunication protocols SS7, DIAMETER, SIP.
- Specialization in Linux application servers.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages, preferably writing automation.
- Hands-on experience with SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL).
- Hands-on experience with Splunk.
- Hands-on experience implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting Unix/Linux systems.
- Strong knowledge of networking and VoIP infrastructure.
- B.A. degree in engineering.
- Years of experience as an in-house Network Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and test service components, including applications and systems.
- Maintain availability and performance of our systems.
- Run live diagnostic site traffic tools, monitor system capacity, service configuration, and traffic routing.
- Research and escalate issues to the appropriate teams for efficient problem resolution.
- Use ticketing, alerts, and email for issue documentation, tracking, and escalation.
- Communicate effectively and describe problems clearly to facilitate hand-off to other teams or peers.
