3D Artist

TryMyGames Studio is looking for a highly skilled 3D Artist. In this position, your responsibilities will include the creation of 3D models, characters, environments and props, UV unwrapping, texturing and optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Design and create high-quality 3D models, UV unwrapping, textures, in line with project specifications and production deadlines
• Create 3D assets for environments, characters, and props.
• Assist in defining the visual direction for a project and maintaining this direction throughout all phases of development.
• Understand the capabilities and limitations of the game engine and platform, and create assets that adhere to their constraints.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest 3D design trends, techniques, and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in 3D modeling software (Blender preferred); 3D sculpting (Zbrush) and texture painting software (such as Substance Painter, 3D Coat or Photoshop).
• Understanding of the game development process, from concept to final polish.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your 3D art skills and creativity.
• Solid understanding of form, shape, structure, and silhouette, and how they relate to 3D modeling.
• Strong grasp of lighting, texturing, and animation.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in preparing and exporting assets to Unity;
• Ability to create Shaders;
• Skills in creating Particle Systems;
• Experience with scene lighting;
• Strong artistic and technical insights;
• Experience with character and machinery animation
